The fleet of the Elgin P.D. consists of two Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptors, two Dodge Durangos, a Chevrolet Impala and two Dodge Chargers. All are equiped with radar and video cameras. The department also utilizes a Ford Ranger pick-up truck for the community service program.
